Aquasonic Para-Gone 25 Tablets are designed to assist in the control of a wide range of external parasites on aquarium fish. Parasitic infestations often show up as fish rubbing or scratching against rocks, wood or equipment, and can quickly lead to stress, damage to skin and fins, and secondary infections if left untreated.
Para-Gone tablets are suitable for goldfish, tropical and marine aquarium fish, and target some of the most common external parasites found in home aquariums.
What Aquasonic Para-Gone 25 Tablets Are Used For
Aquasonic Para-Gone tablets aid in the control of most external fish parasites, including:
- Fish lice (Argulus spp)
- Skin and gill flukes (Ergasilus spp)
- Anchor worms (Lernaea spp)
Para-Gone can be used in freshwater and saltwater aquariums where these parasites are present.
Note: Para-Gone does not treat bacterial or viral infections – it is specifically for external parasites.
