Ludwigia sp. Mini ‘Super Red’ is a popular species that develops an intensive, red colour under medium to hight light without CO2 injection requirements.
Ludwigia sp. Mini ‘Super Red’ requires good lighting to grow well, but otherwise is undemanding. This plant looks similar to Ludwigia “Rubin”, but has smaller leaves. Like with most other aquarium plants, Ludwigia sp. ‘Super Red’ will do best with rich nutrient substrate, high lighting and CO2 injection.

Like many other stem plants you cut the top half of this Ludwigia’s main stem and plant it to propagate.
